This track covers the concept of social innovation system as an inter-connection of things in developing, diffusing, and utilizing innovation targeting social issues or needs. The track aims to tackle societal challenges by fostering society’s inclusiveness and innovativeness. Innovation is essential and crucial in resolving today’s social issues – cohesion, equality and poverty. Crucial to addressing these challenges is the utilisation of social innovation. Both take the perspective of exploring, innovations for society or society for innovation summing up as social innovation.
